The Tone:

• Team: A senior leader within the middle market investment banking team, contributing strategically to firm development.
• Mission: To secure new client engagements, successfully execute M&A and capital advisory transactions, and contribute to the firm’s growth and impact in the middle market.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Business Development: Actively pursue new business opportunities, aiming for $3M+ in fee generation by presenting the firm’s full range of services.
• Client Engagement: Expand and use your existing network to drive new deal flow and initiate client engagements aligned with the firm’s strategy.
• Transaction Leadership: Lead transactions across various industries from initial pitch through closing, demonstrating strong execution, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Relationship Management: Maintain and manage client relationships, providing guidance at key strategic points and communicating financial information for corporate finance transactions.
• Firm Building: Provide leadership and mentoring for junior staff, participate in industry events, and act as a strategic advisor to clients while contributing to the firm’s strategic direction.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Executive career level with a Bachelor’s Degree (advanced degree preferred) and proven expertise in middle market M&A and capital advisory.
• Experience: Over 10 years in investment banking, coupled with strong client relationship skills and an established professional network.
• Skills: Exceptional work ethic, integrity, professionalism, demonstrated leadership and management abilities, proficiency in deal execution, negotiation, and closing, and active FINRA licenses.
• Bonus: Advanced degree preferred.
