The Tone:

As a Manager Trainee, you will be instrumental in learning to manage driver counts, ensure the safe and timely movement of freight, and deliver best-in-class customer service. What You’ll Actually Do
• Driver & Carrier Relations: Learn to build and maintain positive professional relationships with drivers and reliable outside carriers to minimize turnover and maximize ongoing productivity.
• Fleet Optimization: Become proficient in maximizing the efficiency and profitability of fleet operations, making recommendations for continuous improvement and presenting customer-specific reports.
• Operational Management: Gain knowledge on how to manage inventory, assets, customer pools, and assign drivers to balance equipment in the market.
• Administrative Support: Learn to perform administrative duties such as payroll, management of the Net-Revenue budget, driver counseling, and creating operational or financial reports.
• Safety & Compliance: Learn to maintain the Company’s safety culture, including daily driver safety messages, quarterly training, and enforcing company policies to ensure DOT compliance.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Transportation/Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field, or a High School Diploma/GED with equivalent military experience.
• Experience: Entry-Level position; requires 1 year of experience in management, transportation/logistics, business administration, or account management if not holding a Bachelor’s degree.
• Skills: Analytical Decision-Making, Relationship Management, Effective Communication, Problem-Solving, Customer Service.
