The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Deloitte, located in the Netherlands. Deloitte Business of Technology & Agility (BoT&A) serves as a partner for clients facing critical, complex, and disruptive technological challenges. The role is pivotal in guiding technology transformations for public sector entities, bridging the gap between business objectives and technology solutions. As a (Senior) Manager, you will advise on the strategic deployment of technology to enable user-friendly, personal, and cost-effective services, aiming for maximum societal impact. This growing team seeks future leaders who can directly add value, deliver high-quality services, and help develop the practice into a leader in Technology Strategy.

• Team: Part of the Public Sector team within the Business of Technology & Agility (BoT&A) practice, collaborating with Deloitte Consulting colleagues.
• Mission: Advise public sector clients on technology strategy to achieve user-friendly, personal, and cost-effective services with maximum societal impact.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Technology Strategy & Impact: Develop technology and digitization strategies, derived from business goals, to facilitate maximum societal impact for public sector clients.
• IT Operating Model & Optimization: Design and implement future-proof IT operating models, review IT organizations, landscapes, and finances to advise on maturity, improvements, and future scenarios, ensuring optimal business-IT collaboration.
• Sourcing & Cloud Solutions: Analyze and recommend appropriate sourcing mixes, including insourcing, outsourcing, and the adoption of Cloud technologies, while preparing value cases and execution plans for strategic realization.
• Client & Business Leadership: Lead client project teams, ensure high-quality deliverables, cultivate client relationships, identify new business opportunities within the public sector, and contribute to cross-selling Deloitte services.
• Internal Development & Thought Leadership: Drive internal initiatives, coach junior colleagues, and contribute to knowledge sharing and thought leadership through new methodologies, tools, and training programs.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Master’s degree with a strong affinity for IT & Business, such as Business Information Management.
• Experience: Minimum six years of relevant, demonstrable work experience, predominantly in consultancy. Proven experience leading teams and projects, and navigating political-administrative environments. Experience assisting CIOs with technology strategy, digitization, and IT operating models.
• Skills: Excellent command of both Dutch and English. Possesses a team player mentality, commercial insight, and entrepreneurial courage.
