Manager, Learning and Development (Brewery) | Molson Coors Beverage Company
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Molson Coors Beverage Company, located in Trenton, OH. Molson Coors builds an incredible portfolio of beer, seltzers, spirits, and non-alcohol brands, with a bold vision to transform the beverage industry. This position is vital for shaping the plant’s learning landscape, driving a consistent, division-wide strategy by implementing annual and multi-year learning initiatives aligned with regional people development goals. It serves as a key leadership interface within the plant, ensuring the application of established learning and development principles and standards.
The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Location: In-person, Trenton, OH
• Pay: $97400–$127900 yearly
• Team: Leads a team of Learning and Development Specialists and Technicians, part of the US People Development team.
• Mission: Implements and champions the plant’s learning strategy, ensuring consistent application of development principles and alignment with North American People Development initiatives.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead: Lead and support the growth and development of a team of talented colleagues, including Learning and Development Specialists and Technicians, through career discussions and consistent one-on-one conversations.
• Strategize: Develop and champion the overall learning strategy for the plant, ensuring its consistency with North American People Development learning strategies and World Class Supply Chain initiatives.
• Develop Talent: Support outputs from the Talent Management process by identifying and securing Global North American Leadership Development-aligned learning solutions to address individual and collective employee needs.
• Ensure Alignment: Drive engagement, buy-in, and adherence to a unified “one-way” L&D approach among plant leadership, employees, and the People Development team.
• Implement Best Practices: Ensure all training conducted at the local level is consistent with established corporate standards of excellence, and implement corporate Education and Training best practice strategies by facilitating the integration of processes and standards at the plant level.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree, ideally with a focus in organizational development, human resources, business, or another related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 7+ years of experience in Learning & Development, including direct application of adult learning methodologies, familiarity with a manufacturing environment, and experience working within a matrix environment.
• Skills: Knowledge and understanding of lean manufacturing methodologies and world class manufacturing principles; ability to be both strategic and hands-on; embodies a client service and enterprise mindset with a solutions orientation; and takes accountability for results, acting with integrity and honoring commitments.
