Manager, Learning and Development (Brewery) | D.G. Yuengling & Son
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Molson Coors, located in Trenton, OH, requiring onsite work five days per week. The company crafts a diverse portfolio of beer, seltzers, spirits, and non-alcohol brands, and is transforming the beverage industry. This position is a key leadership role at the plant, essential for implementing the annual and multi-year learning strategy, ensuring consistent application of established learning and development principles, and driving a unified, division-wide approach to people development.

• Mission: Implement and champion the plant’s learning strategy, aligning it with North American People Development goals and World Class Supply Chain initiatives.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead Team: Lead and support a team of Learning and Development Specialists and Technicians, fostering their growth and development through career discussions and consistent one-on-one conversations.
• Develop Strategy: Develop and champion the overall learning strategy for the plant, ensuring consistency with North American People Development learning strategies and World Class Supply Chain initiatives.
• Support Talent Management: Support outputs from the Talent Management process, identifying and securing aligned global or regional leadership development learning solutions to address individual and collective needs.
• Ensure Consistency: Ensure all training conducted at the local level is consistent with established standards of excellence from the corporate learning and development community.
• Implement Best Practices: Implement corporate Education and Training best practice strategy and facilitate the integration of best practices, processes, and standards at the plant level.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree, ideally focused on organizational development, human resources, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience. This is a manager-level role.
• Experience: 7+ years of experience in Learning & Development, including direct application of adult learning methodologies, familiarity with a manufacturing environment, and experience working within a matrix environment.
• Skills: Knowledge and understanding of lean manufacturing methodologies and world-class manufacturing principles, ability to be both strategic and hands-on, client service and enterprise mindset with a solutions orientation.
• Bonus: A thirst for learning and a commitment to taking accountability for results by acting with integrity and honoring commitments.
