Grocery Manager In Training | MOM’s Organic Market

The Tone:
This is a full-time, in-person management training role at MOM’s Organic Market, located in multiple store locations within a regional cluster, requiring up to an hour commute. • Pay: $24 hourly
• Mission: Develop future leaders who can positively impact store operations, customer experience, and the company’s strategic direction through a structured training program.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Leadership Development: Formulate and adhere to an Individual Development Plan (IDP) with clear learning goals and regularly scheduled check-ins to monitor progress, with an emphasis on leadership training.
• Operational Mastery: Become proficient in integral tasks crucial for future leadership, such as managing ordering processes and writing work schedules.
• Diverse Store Exposure: Work across a minimum of two different store locations to gain comprehensive experience with varying sales volumes, adapt to distinct management styles, and address a range of unique operational challenges.
• Flexible Scheduling: Maintain the ability to work a flexible schedule, which includes shifts during nights, holidays, and weekends, as store operations run 7 days a week between 4 am and 11 pm.
• Positive Influence: Actively contribute to a positive store environment and ensure an exceptional customer experience, reflecting MOM’s values.

• Background: A candidate for Manager in Training, with no specific schooling or prior industry experience strictly required. The company prioritizes individuals with a proven track record of success, strong attitude, and excellent work ethic, showing faith in their potential for growth.
• Experience: No specific years of experience are mandated; attitude and work ethic are valued more than past experience. Candidates should be ready to embrace new responsibilities as opportunities for learning and growth.
• Skills: A strong aptitude for leadership development, effective problem-solving (figuring out fixes, not blame), continuous learning from mistakes, a customer-centric approach, and capability for task mastery.
