Grocery Manager In Training | MOM’s Organic Market
The Tone:
This is a full-time leadership development role at MOM’s Organic Market, located across multiple store locations with an expected commute up to an hour. The company is building its future leaders to positively affect the store environment, customer experience, and influence the future direction of the company. This role matters as it provides a structured and supported framework for professional development, offering quality training with consistent feedback and coaching. The TL;DR
• Role: Full-time
• Location: In-person, multiple store locations (up to an hour commute expected)
• Pay: $24 hourly
• Mission: To successfully complete a structured leadership development program, gaining the skills and experience necessary to become a Department Manager or Assistant General Manager.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Development: Actively participate in the MIT program by formulating an Individual Development Plan (IDP), setting clear learning goals, and engaging in regularly scheduled check-ins to track progress towards leadership.
• Operations: Master core department management tasks and responsibilities, including accurate product ordering and efficient schedule writing, as integral parts of your future leadership development.
• Exposure: Gain diverse operational and leadership experience by working in a minimum of two MOM’s store locations, learning to adapt to varying sales volumes and different management styles.
• Training: Benefit from continuous professional development through quality training, receiving consistent feedback and coaching to enhance your management capabilities.
• Impact: Positively affect the store environment and customer experience, and learn to influence the future direction of the company as you grow into a MOM’s leader.

• Background: An aspiring leader with a strong desire to grow into a management role, regardless of prior schooling or industry experience, as attitude and work ethic are paramount.
• Experience: A proven track record of success in previous endeavors, demonstrating the ability to take on new responsibilities and adapt to challenges.
• Skills: A flexible approach to scheduling, including the ability to work nights, holidays, and weekends; a proactive, solution-oriented mindset; a commitment to learning from mistakes; and a natural inclination to spread joy.
