What You’ll Actually Do
• Cultivate High-Performing Teams: Drive team engagement and performance by embodying AutoZone’s “Live The Pledge” values, delivering “WOW! Customer Service,” and fostering strong internal and external communication to ensure effective store execution.
• Enhance Store Profitability: Learn to manage, analyze, and reconcile monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, applying financial acumen to identify opportunities and optimize store profitability.
• Oversee Operational Standards: Support daily store operations, uphold structured training processes, ensure compliance with all company policies, and integrate management skills training to understand AutoZone culture.
• Lead Customer Service Initiatives: Take charge of all customer service activities, ensuring outstanding customer experiences, proactively resolving concerns, and maintaining the highest service standards.
• Manage Inventory and Sales Strategies: Oversee inventory accuracy, execute strategic store merchandising, and implement effective sales strategies to maximize success and contribute to overall store growth.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Managerial; demonstrated proficiency in retail supervision or management.
• Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience as a retail manager or supervisor; full-time flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Skills: Operational oversight; Financial acumen (P&L statement analysis); Leadership and team development; Customer service management; Effective communication.
• Bonus: High school diploma or equivalent (GED); Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English; Prior experience in automotive retail.
