The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Ryder, located in Nashville, TN. Ryder provides industry-leading supply chain solutions to Fortune 500 businesses and new startups. This position is critical for overseeing the daily operations and account management within an assigned function, ensuring customer satisfaction and the attainment of operational goals. The Manager Customer Logistics plays a key role in leading direct reports and maintaining compliance across all operations.

• Team: Leads direct reports within the Supply Chain Solutions division.
• Mission: Oversee day-to-day operations and account management to achieve daily operational goals within an assigned functional area.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Relations: Ensure customer service satisfaction and manage expectations.
• Staff Leadership: Manage performance and development for exempt and non-exempt employees.
• Operational Oversight: Handle day-to-day planning and scheduling activities.
• Safety Management: Ensure health and safety standards are maintained.
• Regulatory Compliance: Maintain compliance with State, Local, and Federal regulations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager level, with a required H.S. diploma/GED and core knowledge in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse operations.
• Experience: Two (2) years or more of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or an industry-related field, plus one (1) year or more of direct supervisory/leadership experience.
• Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), advanced logistics industry knowledge, and strong advanced knowledge of Manufacturing and Production.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain is preferred.
