Management Trainee | Foley Equipment

The Tone:
This is a full-time Management Trainee program at Foley Equipment, operating across multiple locations within Kansas and Western Missouri. Foley Equipment, a company with over nine decades of service, delivers exceptional support for Caterpillar and allied construction equipment, power generation, and construction technology. This program offers a path for motivated individuals to develop leadership capabilities, gain a comprehensive understanding of business operations, and grow into future leaders within our family-owned organization.

• Pay: $62,000 yearly

What You’ll Actually Do
• Cross-functional Exposure: Rotate through key departments such as Rental, Sales, Parts, and Service to gain hands-on experience and a broad understanding of the business.
• Leadership Development: Work closely with experienced leaders who will mentor you throughout the program, helping you build confidence and leadership skills.
• Customer Service Excellence: Learn how to deliver exceptional customer service that creates lasting relationships and drives real impact in the communities we serve.
• Business Acumen: Understand how the business runs behind the scenes by working with budgets, reviewing financial performance, and tracking operational results.
• Operational Improvement: Contribute to improvement projects that make the company more efficient, innovative, and successful, including traveling to different locations for training and team support.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level professional who is a recent graduate or early-career professional, with an interest in construction, equipment, agriculture, automotive, or business operations.
• Experience: Demonstrated initiative or potential in leadership roles, coupled with a focus on problem-solving and delivering outstanding service.
• Skills: Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and customers, a customer-focused mindset, and critical thinking for practical decision-making.
• Bonus: Bachelor’s Degree, Industry experience, Prior leadership experience.
