Management Trainee – West Coast | SwiftX
The Tone:
This is a comprehensive one-year rotational development program at SwiftX, based on the West Coast. SwiftX operates within the logistics and supply chain sector, and this role is designed to cultivate future operations leaders. The program is crucial for providing structured training, extensive hands-on operational experience across various functions, and focused leadership development, ensuring participants are well-prepared for significant contributions to the organization.

• Mission: Cultivate future operations leaders through structured training, diverse operational exposure, and leadership development.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Foundational Operations: Complete onboarding and foundational operations training, learning warehouse processes, safety requirements, and operational workflows through rotations in multiple warehouse functions and locations.
• Hub and Transportation Management: Participate directly in hub operations, dispatch coordination, and transportation activities, taking ownership of assigned responsibilities to support daily operational management and KPI achievement.
• Operational Support & Analysis: Rotate through critical operational support functions like Pickup Operations, Data Analysis, Network Planning, and Transportation Operations, engaging in process improvement and operational optimization projects.
• Leadership and Project Initiatives: Receive advanced role-specific training and participate in management and leadership development programs, leading assigned projects and operational initiatives.
• Career Progression: Successfully complete the one-year program, including a final evaluation, to transition into a permanent leadership-track position within the organization’s operations.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business, Economics, Operations Management, or a closely related academic discipline, having graduated within the past 12 months or expecting to graduate soon.
• Experience: No prior professional work experience is required, as this is an early career development program; however, fluency in both English and Mandarin is a fundamental requirement.
• Skills: Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a proven capacity for effective teamwork and collaboration.
• Bonus: Additional Spanish language skills are highly advantageous, along with a strong self-motivation for career growth and the ability to adapt and thrive within an active operational environment.
