Management Trainee (Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport) | SIXT

The Tone:
This is a 12-month full-time Management Trainee program at SIXT, located in Minneapolis, MN, specifically at Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport, with travel requirements within the United States. SIXT is a globally leading mobility service provider with €4.00 billion in revenue and approximately 9,000 employees worldwide, offering car rental, car sharing, taxi/ride/chauffeur services, and car subscriptions. This program is designed to fast-track individuals into leadership, providing hands-on experience and skill development to manage operations and lead teams in the mobility sector, with a guaranteed leadership position upon successful completion.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operational Goals: Support the achievement of operational goals and contribute to greater efficiency and shared success within the team.
• Business Insights: Gain insights into key business areas such as Sales, Customer Service, Fleet Management, and Performance Management.
• Core Operations: Work in the operational day-to-day business, understanding all aspects from sales to fleet operations.
• Skill Development: Participate in training focused on communication, conflict resolution, sales, and problem-solving strategies.
• Leadership Learning: Collaborate closely with Branch Managers and Area Directors to learn leadership on the job.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Completed a bachelor’s degree or gained relevant professional experience in Sales, Customer Service, Tourism, Hospitality, and Management.
• Experience: At least 1 year of driving experience and a valid driver’s license.
• Skills: Strong communication skills in English; a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset; ability to work independently, solve problems, and take ownership; flexibility to work and travel within the United States as business needs dictate, including periodic travel of up to 50% and temporary assignments.
• Bonus: Other languages are a plus.
