Management Trainee | Cintas

This is a full-time Management Trainee program at Cintas, a publicly held Fortune 500 company headquartered in Cincinnati, OH. • Mission: To develop leadership capabilities and provide in-depth, hands-on experience across Cintas’s business operations to prepare individuals for career advancement.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Department Rotation: Rotate through various departments, including Outside Sales, Production/Warehouse Management, Office Management, and Service Management, to immerse in the business from a leadership viewpoint.
• Sales Engagement: Engage in outside sales activities to actively promote Cintas products and services while strategically building and nurturing customer relationships.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries and efficiently resolving any issues that arise.
• Business Analysis: Analyze sales data and other operational metrics to assist in making informed business decisions that drive efficiency and growth.
• Leadership Collaboration: Collaborate closely with key leaders on various projects specifically related to sales management and overall operational efficiency.
• Professional Development: Access professional development opportunities, including Executive Leadership Seminars and Divisional Summits.
The Must-Haves
• Background: An entry-level career position for individuals who currently hold, or will obtain, a Bachelor’s degree within six months. This role is designed for those looking to develop leadership skills and gain comprehensive business experience.
• Experience: An active driver’s license is required for this role. Preferred experience includes co-op or internship experience within a Customer Service, Sales, Production, or Administrative role, demonstrating early professional engagement.
• Skills: Strong analytical capabilities for understanding sales data, effective communication skills for building customer relationships, and demonstrated leadership potential. The ability to learn various aspects of business operations, including sales, production, office, and service management, is key.
• Bonus: A Bachelor’s degree with a business or otherwise related academic major is preferred. Candidates with a leadership or management role on campus or in related extracurricular activities are highly valued. A willingness to relocate regionally during, or at the end of, the program is also preferred.
