Management Trainee | SIXT

The Tone:
This is a full-time Management Trainee Program, located across the United States with required travel. SIXT is a globally leading mobility service provider with €4.00 billion in revenue and around 9,000 employees worldwide. This program is designed to fast-track individuals into real leadership roles, providing hands-on experience and skill development to make an impact and shape the future of mobility. Graduates are guaranteed placement into a leadership position, such as managing a downtown branch or joining an airport leadership team.

The TL;DR
• Role: Management Trainee Program / Early Career
• Type: Full-time
• Location: In-person, United States (with up to 50% travel)
• Pay: $27.35 hourly
• Mission: Fast-track individuals into guaranteed leadership positions within SIXT by providing hands-on experience and skill development in core mobility operations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Responsibility: Take on significant responsibility early in the 12-month program, supporting operational goals and contributing to team efficiency and shared success.
• Insights: Gain comprehensive insights into key business areas including Sales, Customer Service, Fleet Management, and Performance Management, while working towards clear learning and performance goals.
• Operations: Work directly in day-to-day operational business, understanding all aspects of core operations from sales to fleet, supported by training in communication, conflict resolution, sales, and problem-solving strategies.
• Leadership Learning: Collaborate closely with Branch Managers and Area Directors to develop leadership skills through on-the-job experience.
• Placement: Upon successful completion of the program, transition directly into a leadership position anywhere in the United States.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Completed a bachelor’s degree or possess relevant professional experience in Sales, Customer Service, Tourism, Hospitality, or Management. Career level is geared towards early leadership.
• Experience: At least 1 year of driving experience is required.
• Skills: Demonstrate a growth mindset, leadership and entrepreneurial potential (taking initiative), strong communication skills in English, a proactive attitude (independent problem-solving, ownership), and agile flexibility (readiness to work and travel up to 50% within the United States for temporary assignments).
• Bonus: Proficiency in other languages is a plus.
