• Mission: Lead daily restaurant operations, staff development, and guest experiences to ensure restaurant success.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Initial Training: Undertake an intensive 8-week, self-directed training program, gaining comprehensive knowledge of all restaurant roles from front-of-house dining room service to back-of-house kitchen operations, supported by mentorship from experienced staff and management.
• Staff Leadership and Development: Lead, train, and mentor a diverse team of restaurant staff, actively participating in the hiring process and ongoing development of team members to ensure a cohesive and high-performing workforce.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of inventory management, ensuring efficient use of resources and seamless daily operations while consistently maintaining Hillstone’s high standards of service quality.
• Guest Experience Management: Actively engage with guests to understand their needs, resolve concerns, and personally ensure that every dining experience is exceptional and memorable.
• Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the broader management team to align strategies, share insights, and collectively ensure the restaurant achieves its success metrics and operational goals.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess a background in restaurant management or a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry. Demonstrate a strong understanding of full-service restaurant operations, service excellence principles, and foundational business savvy.
• Experience: Exhibit a proven track record of successfully leading, training, and mentoring restaurant staff, along with experience in hiring and developing team members. Must have hands-on experience in overseeing inventory management and ensuring operational efficiency in a demanding environment.
• Skills: Strong capabilities in staff development and motivation, meticulous attention to detail in operational oversight, exceptional relationship-building skills for both staff and guests, and a commitment to driving service excellence.
