What You’ll Actually Do
• Participate in Hands-On Training: Engage actively in a paid, 12-week Management Internship program that offers direct, practical experience tailored to developing skills for retail management.
• Collaborate with Store Leadership: Work closely alongside the General Management team, various Department Managers, and experienced Store Team Members to learn and grow within the company structure.
• Develop Business Acumen: Gain a comprehensive understanding of Menards’ business operations, including how different departments function and contribute to overall store success.
• Enhance Professional Skills: Focus on strengthening critical organizational, communication, and time management skills through real-world application and continuous learning.
• Acquire Management Experience: Obtain valuable, hands-on management experience by contributing to daily store activities and observing leadership in action, preparing for future managerial roles.
• Prepare for Career Advancement: Systematically prepare to assume a management position within Menards, leveraging the knowledge and skills acquired during the internship program.
