• Mission: To equip interns with the necessary understanding and hands-on experience to transition into successful retail management roles at Menards.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Participate in a Structured Training Program: Engage in a comprehensive, 12-week paid, hands-on training program specifically engineered to immerse you in and develop your skills for the world of Retail Management at Menards. This program is foundational for building an exciting and rewarding career.
• Cultivate Essential Management Competencies: Dedicate efforts to developing and strengthening crucial organizational, communication, and time management skills, receiving practical application opportunities and guidance from experienced managers throughout the program.
• Gain Direct Retail Operations Experience: Acquire invaluable, hands-on management experience by actively participating in various facets of store operations, leadership tasks, and daily retail challenges, which directly prepares you for future management responsibilities.
• Collaborate and Learn from Store Leadership: Work in close collaboration with the General Management team, various Department Managers, and other Store Team Members to build a deep and practical understanding of Menards’ business model, operational strategies, and team dynamics.
• Prepare for a Future Management Position: Successfully progress through and complete the internship program, positioning yourself to confidently transition into and take on a full management role within Menards shortly after completion, leveraging your newly acquired skills and experience.
