The Tone:
This is a full-time, leadership developmental and rotational role with Nestlé Purina North America, with an initial placement at one of their factories in Crete, Nebraska; Clinton, Iowa; or Davenport, Iowa. The TL;DR

• Pay: $80000 yearly
• Mission: Ensure effective identification, communication, and mitigation of workplace hazards and develop into a future safety leader within manufacturing.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Implement: Utilize assessment and risk prediction processes to ensure effective identification, communication, and mitigation of workplace hazards.
• Recommend: Make recommendations for safety improvements throughout the factory.
• Deliver: Provide effective safety training, including safety orientation programs for new hires and contractors.
• Organize: Coordinate and conduct training for the factory safety committee.
• Enforce: Model and enforce compliance of internally and externally mandated safety regulations and procedures.
• Support: Serve as a resource to all factory employees, providing exceptional customer service regarding safety.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, or a related discipline, attained or expected by June 2027.
• Experience: Must be open to relocation to any of Nestlé Purina’s 24 manufacturing sites across the U.S. as you progress through the Management Development Associate program.
• Skills: Ability to implement risk assessment processes, make safety improvement recommendations, and deliver comprehensive safety trainings.
• Bonus: Prior internship, co-op, practicum, or manufacturing experience is preferred. Involvement in student organizations and/or other leadership experience is preferred.
