Manager In Training – Spokane, WA | Touchmark
The Tone:
This is an 18-month to two-year Management Training program at Touchmark, located in Spokane, WA. Touchmark operates premier senior living communities, guided by the ETHIC principles of Excellence, Teamwork, Hospitality, Integrity, and Compassion. This program is specifically designed for recent graduates to develop into future leaders, continually enriching the daily lives of residents through these core values. The role is crucial for cultivating managers who embody the company’s mission to be an Ally, a Friend, and a Giver.
The TL;DR

• Pay: $28.85–$30.29 hourly
• Mission: Prepare ambitious and motivated individuals to assume a management role within Touchmark’s senior living communities upon program completion.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Collaborate: Spend days working and learning alongside Touchmark’s team of leaders in senior living communities.
• Internalize: Learn what it means to Be an Ally, A Friend, and A Giver, aligning with Touchmark’s core mission and values.
• Develop: Acquire and refine the necessary skills to become a future leader within the Touchmark organization.
• Rotate: Spend time in each of the functional departments within a community to gain comprehensive operational knowledge.
• Lead: Learn Touchmark’s operations and develop the ability to lead effectively by Touchmark’s established values.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or another related field. This role is ideal for recent graduates entering an entry-level management development program.
• Experience: Demonstrated leadership skills evidenced by positions in work, school/athletics, or volunteer organizations, and the ability to relocate to any Touchmark location upon program completion.
• Skills: Comfort and proficiency in giving oral presentations to both small and large groups, a willingness to work occasional weekends and evenings as needed, and a demonstrated capacity for empathy toward others.
• Bonus: A desire to work in the hospitality or service industry or specifically with seniors is considered a plus.
