Management Advancement Program | Belmont Village Senior Living

The Tone:
This is an early career program at Belmont Village Senior Living, located in Houston, Greater Miami-Dade, Los Angeles, and Greater San Diego. Belmont Village Senior Living develops, owns, and operates award-winning senior living communities, cultivating “home-grown” leaders in a rapidly growing and recession-resistant industry. This role offers an accelerated path to leadership, transitioning high-potential graduates into management positions that contribute to the operational excellence and multi-million dollar business of senior care.

The TL;DR

• Team: You will join a highly selective leadership initiative, supported by a dedicated preceptor and mentored by department heads.
• Mission: Solve complex problems and lead with purpose in senior living operations, balancing high-touch hospitality with innovative, evidence-based care.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Build Operational Foundation: Gain hands-on exposure across all key departments, from luxury culinary services to research-based memory care programming, through a rotational externship.
• Specialize in Leadership Tracks: Step into a leadership practicum as a MAP Fellow, specializing in Sales, Business Office Management/HR, or Resident Enrichment based on a core competency assessment.
• Receive Dedicated Mentorship: Benefit from guidance and support from a dedicated preceptor and department heads throughout the program’s two immersive phases.
• Drive Business and Service Excellence: Apply an analytical mind to manage a multi-million dollar business while fostering a warm, dignified environment with high-touch hospitality.
• Achieve Management-Ready Status: Successfully complete the accelerated program to be eligible for community management roles or other available leadership positions within a nationwide portfolio.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Recent Bachelor’s or Master’s graduate from diverse academic backgrounds.
• Experience: Entry-level role designed for high-potential graduates to transition into management; no specific prior work experience is explicitly required.
• Skills: Strong business acumen, team-oriented collaboration, empathy to create a dignified environment, analytical thinking, commitment to service, ability to balance high-touch hospitality with evidence-based operations, problem-solving.
• Bonus: Academic background in Human Services (Gerontology, Social Work, Sociology, Psychology), Business, Finance, Accounting, Sales & Marketing, Healthcare or Hospitality Management, Therapeutic Recreation, Human Resources, Education, or Nursing; passion for hospitality, business, and healthcare excellence.
