The TL;DR

• Mission: To ensure the Life Safety Code, physical plant, equipment, grounds, and utilities are maintained in good working order and in accordance with community policies, state and federal regulations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Compliance Oversight: Ensure the facility adheres to all Life Safety Code requirements and relevant state and federal regulations.
• Facility Upkeep: Maintain the physical plant, equipment, grounds, and utilities in optimal working condition.
• Policy Adherence: Follow all health, sanitary, and infection control policies to ensure a safe environment.
• Standards Maintenance: Uphold established standards of practice set forth by the community’s administration and Maintenance Policies and Procedures.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High school graduate or equivalent with a core understanding of environmental services, maintenance, or a relative trade.
• Experience: At least two (2) years of experience in environmental services, maintenance, or a relative trade.
• Skills: Practical maintenance and repair abilities, knowledge of regulatory compliance for facility operations, and adherence to health and safety protocols.
• Bonus: Experience preferably gained within the healthcare or hospitality industry.
