Storeroom Clerk | IFF

• Mission: This role ensures the operational readiness of plant and office equipment and facilities by providing direct assistance to maintenance personnel across various trades.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Maintenance Support: Assist maintenance personnel covering mechanical, electrical, civil, and other trades for a range of tasks.
• Equipment Handling: Assemble and transport materials handling equipment to support facility operations.
• Repair & Installation: Help with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and mechanical plant and office equipment and appliances.
• Site Preparation: Execute site preparation activities, including drain cleaning, concrete laying, partitioning, and shuttering erection.
• Routine Trade Tasks: Perform routine aspects of specific trade activities, such as the lubrication of production equipment and pulling electrical wiring, utilizing simple trade tools like pipe benders, spanners, and glass cutters.

• Background: Others. Candidates should possess a foundational understanding of general maintenance practices, particularly those relevant to mechanical, electrical, and civil trades, to effectively support diverse operational needs.
• Experience: Practical experience in assisting with a variety of maintenance tasks and contributing to site preparation activities is beneficial for this role.
• Skills: Demonstrated capability in using simple trade tools including but not limited to pipe benders, spanners, and glass cutters; proficiency in assisting with materials handling and logistics; and an aptitude for learning and diligently executing routine maintenance procedures.
