What You’ll Actually Do
• Mail Operations: Coordinate the daily receiving, postage, and organization of all office mail.
• Office Logistics: Organize and stock office supplies, including moving and lifting large box deliveries.
• Workstation Setup: Set up workstations for new employees.
• Administrative Support: Assist the HR Manager with office management tasks and other duties as requested by legal and case staff.
• External Deliveries: Drive as needed to other local offices to deliver mail or supplies.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Requires a high school diploma or a GED. This foundational education ensures the ability to handle administrative and logistical tasks effectively within a professional setting.
• Experience: Demonstrated proficiency with essential mailroom equipment, including copy machines, package tracking software, and postage equipment. This experience is key for managing the daily flow of office communications.
• Skills: A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is mandatory, along with ownership of a personal vehicle insured at all times with 100/300 Bodily Injury limits. The role also requires the physical capability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds, including kneeling and bending, for handling deliveries and supplies.
• Bonus: Exceptional organizational skills coupled with the ability to multitask, prioritize tasks efficiently, and manage workload effectively with minimal supervision. A strong knowledge of local roads or a proficient ability to use GPS for navigation between offices is also highly valued.
