The TL;DR

• Team: Services the mail room and provides support across the organization, assisting the HR Manager, attorneys, and case staff.
• Mission: Ensures the efficient flow of mail, supplies, and general office logistics to support the firm’s daily operations and various departments.
• Tech Stack: Copy machine, package tracking software, postage equipment, GPS

What You’ll Actually Do
• Mail and Supply Management: Coordinate daily mail department operations, including receiving, posting, and organizing office mail, alongside organizing and stocking office supplies.
• Logistics and Office Support: Execute the movement and lifting of large box deliveries, set up workstations for new employees, and assist the HR Manager with office management tasks.
• Driving and Deliveries: Drive as needed to other local offices to deliver mail or supplies between firm locations.
• General Assistance: Provide support for various tasks as requested by attorneys or case staff across the organization.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High school diploma or GED; core domain knowledge in mailroom operations and general office support functions.
• Experience: Proven ability to organize, multitask, prioritize, and manage workload with minimal supervision; experience using mailroom equipment such as copy machines, package tracking software, and postage systems.
• Skills: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and personal vehicle; vehicle must be insured at 100/300 Bodily Injury limits; ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds, while kneeling and bending; strong knowledge of local roads and/or proficiency with GPS for deliveries.
• Bonus: Excellent communication skills and a “can do” attitude to collaborate effectively with diverse employees across the entire organization.
