What You’ll Actually Do
• Mail Operations: Oversee daily mail department activities including receiving, posting, and organizing all office mail.
• Office Support: Organize and maintain stock levels of office supplies throughout the premises.
• Logistics & Setup: Handle the movement and lifting of large box deliveries, and prepare workstations for new employees.
• Inter-office Deliveries: Drive as needed to local offices to facilitate the delivery of mail and essential supplies.
• Administrative Assistance: Provide support to the HR Manager on various office management tasks and assist legal staff with ad-hoc requests.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience: No prior professional experience is explicitly required; demonstrated capability in the listed skills is key.
• Skills:
• Valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, access to a personal vehicle, and maintained vehicle insurance with specific coverage limits (100/300 Bodily Injury).
• Physical capability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds, including kneeling and bending.
• Strong knowledge of local roads and/or proficiency in using GPS for efficient inter-office deliveries.
• Organizational skills with the capacity to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage workload effectively with a positive attitude and minimal supervision.
• Computer proficiency, including familiarity with mailroom equipment such as copy machines, package tracking software, and postage systems.
