Mail Clerk | Tucson Electric Power

This role is with Tucson Electric Power, located in Tucson, AZ. The Mail Clerk is essential for supporting the company’s daily operations by managing the flow of all incoming, internal, and outgoing communications and parcels.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Mail Processing: Prepare and process all incoming, internal, and outgoing mail and parcels, including UPS and FedEx deliveries.
• Distribution: Distribute mail and deliveries to appropriate recipients throughout the company.
• Operations Management: Maintain proper mailing procedures, ensure efficient operation of mailroom equipment, and manage necessary supplies.
• Security & Records: Provide security for postal meters and maintain accurate and thorough records related to their use.
• Support & Assistance: Assist colleagues with questions and resolve problems related to mailing and parcel services.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience: Must possess and be able to retain a valid, up-to-date Arizona driver’s license. Mail room and/or package delivery experience is preferred.
• Skills: Strong verbal communication skills, ability to perform basic math calculations (including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, percentages, and word problems), basic computer skills, ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis in an efficient and safe manner, and ability to deal with others in a tactful, courteous, and business-like manner.
