Job Description

The Lynx Specialty Underwriting Intern role at Mission Underwriting Services involves working closely with a diverse team to assist and support the Underwriting department. Key responsibilities and requirements include:

What You’ll Do:
• Receive training to assist in the underwriting of property insurance.
• Review and analyze various reports to formulate informed underwriting recommendations.
• Provide support to underwriters in coordinating and processing insurance policies.
• Participate in and contribute to special projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Risk Management & Insurance or a related field.
• Preferred: Completion of at least two years of coursework (Junior or Senior standing).
• Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Must be located in Cincinnati, OH, or be willing to self-relocate to the area, as this is an in-person, non-remote position.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring employment sponsorship or visa.
