What You’ll Actually Do
• Lending Operations Management: Support the full loan lifecycle by processing loans, interviewing prospective customers for their needs, attending loan closings, and meticulously maintaining essential loan records such as ticklers and the loan exception list.
• Customer Relationship Building: Deliver superior customer service by greeting visitors, handling telephone inquiries, and employing high-quality relationship-building techniques to promote loyalty and provide optimal banking and financial solutions tailored to individual needs.
• Compliance and Reporting: Ensure strict understanding and adherence to regulatory requirements for financial transactions, specifically the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Customer Identification Program (CIP), while also obtaining credit reports and preparing required reports and files as necessary.
• Administrative and Executive Support: Provide comprehensive clerical and administrative assistance, including composing and typing correspondence, scheduling appointments, maintaining filing systems, verifying port activity and file maintenance, and resolving routine matters to conserve supervisor’s time.
• Team Collaboration and Development: Contribute to a positive teamwork atmosphere by actively participating in departmental discussions and meetings, cross-training in other areas to provide assistance, and continuously enhancing personal and professional skills through ongoing company-provided training and current industry literature.

The Must-Haves
• Background: An early career professional demonstrating foundational knowledge in banking operations, financial transaction regulatory requirements, and best practices for customer service.
• Experience: Proven ability to manage loan processing tasks, including conducting customer interviews, preparing reports, and notarizing documents, coupled with experience in providing comprehensive administrative and clerical support.
• Skills: Proficiency in regulatory compliance (specifically BSA and CIP), exceptional customer service and relationship-building capabilities, strong organizational skills for maintaining detailed records and files, and an unwavering commitment to ethics and confidentiality.
