• Team: LNG Analytics team, part of the wider ICIS Gas and LNG Analytics organisation
• Mission: This person maintains and enhances LNG products, develops and manages global LNG datasets, and provides market-leading analysis and forecasts, primarily for the China market.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Excel, forecast modelling software

What You’ll Actually Do
• Monitor: Monitor market developments through news, industry contacts, and other sources to understand key drivers and events.
• Maintain: Maintain and continuously enhance existing LNG analytics products, including global supply, demand, and gas datasets and forecasts.
• Produce: Produce high-quality analytical content such as market insight articles, presentations, research, and data visualisations to communicate complex market trends effectively.
• Respond: Respond to client enquiries on a regular basis, providing timely, accurate, and insightful market analysis.
• Validate: Perform regular data validation, quality checks, processing, and clean-up to ensure forecasts and analysis remain robust and reliable.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant area, with a demonstrated interest in the Gas & LNG market.
• Experience: Proven analytical and visualization skills, coupled with an independent and proactive approach to learning market happenings.
• Skills: Fluent in Mandarin and English, high proficiency with Microsoft Excel, and excellent communication skills for building contacts and networks.
• Bonus: Experience with forecast modelling software and methodologies.
