Job Description: LIVE Operations Team Intern
This role is for a Campus Intern within the TikTok LIVE Operations team.
Team Introduction:
The TikTok LIVE team is dedicated to working collaboratively with creators, influencers, creator networks/agencies, and partnership organizations. Their overarching mission is to cultivate an environment that fosters real-time community engagement, enabling meaningful and interactive connections globally.
LIVE Operations Team Focus:
The LIVE Operations team is deeply involved in all facets of TikTok LIVE. Their responsibilities span a wide range of areas, including:
• Content strategy development.
• Monetization efforts.
• Management of gifting features.
• Development and optimization of LIVE features.
• Data analysis to inform decisions.
• Campaign creation and execution.
• Ensuring a fun and safe space for all TikTok LIVE users.
Responsibilities:
As an intern in this team, your key responsibilities will include:
• Managing TikTok Live’s social media channels for daily content publishing.
• Providing bi-weekly TikTok trends insights.
• Actively participating in team meetings and training workshops.
• Supporting reporting and program recaps.
• Managing cross-functional (XFN) intake requests.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
• A keen interest in social media, digital marketing, and Live-streaming.
• A strong understanding of media and entertainment, cultural movements, and market trends.
• Familiarity with TikTok and other content platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to be a good team player, a fast learner, and open to changes.
• Possession of a strong start-up mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
• A proven track record in creating creator and content programs.
• Strong knowledge and experience of Live Streaming, social media, or digital content platforms is preferred.
Job Information – Compensation & Benefits:
Compensation Description (Hourly) – Campus Intern:
• The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $23.75 – $38.75.
Benefits:
• Benefits may vary based on employment nature and work location.
• Interns receive day one access to health insurance, life insurance, and wellbeing benefits.
• Interns are also provided with 10 paid holidays per year.
• Paid sick time is offered (56 hours if hired in the first half of the year, 40 hours if hired in the second half of the year).
