Seller LIVE Operations Manager Intern (TikTok Shop – Operations) – 2026 Summer (MBA) | TikTok

The Tone:
This is an MBA internship at TikTok, located in Los Angeles, CA, with potential for housing allowance. TikTok builds a leading destination for short-form mobile video and is actively expanding into content-driven e-commerce. This role is crucial for scaling the #TikTokMadeMeBuyIt phenomenon, pioneering Content & Creator commerce, and delivering a unique customer experience by building an innovative e-commerce ecosystem. You will contribute to making TikTok the leading commerce platform of choice for brands, creators, and shoppers.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Plan: Design an integrated Seller Live strategy to elevate the Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV) generated by sellers on TikTok Shop.
• Analyze: Evaluate live performance metrics to generate actionable insights for optimizing content strategy and boosting conversion rates.
• Coordinate: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure sellers’ promotional activities align with broader marketing campaigns.
• Monitor: Stay informed on TikTok trends and algorithm updates to maximize shop visibility and engagement.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing an MBA Degree; a student able to commit for 12 weeks during Summer Fall 2026.
• Experience: Proven track record in business development and sales within live streaming, e-commerce, media, or digital marketing industries, with a strong understanding of building 1:1 and 1:few relationships between tech platforms and sellers.
• Skills: Ability to work independently, manage multiple high-profile initiatives, exhibit curiosity, be self-motivated, demonstrate a bias-for-action, possess excellent communication and negotiation abilities, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bonus: Familiarity with TikTok and other content platforms, with highly preferred experience in content-based e-commerce.
