Job Description:

Littler Mendelson P.C. is seeking an attorney with a minimum of 6 years of employment law experience to join Littler CaseSmart (LCS) as a Littler CaseSmart Counsel, Charges attorney. This is a remote position and can be worked from anywhere in the United States.

Responsibilities:

As a Littler CaseSmart Counsel, Charges attorney, you will be responsible for the defense of administrative agency charges and attorney demand letters assigned to you, from investigation through conclusion. This involves:

• Drafting position statements.
• Responding to agency requests for information.
• Representing clients in settlement negotiations and remote mediations.
• Frequent communication with clients and administrative agencies.

This is a full-time, remote attorney position with a reduced billable hours requirement and no obligation to engage in business-related travel or business development.

Qualifications:

• Familiarity and experience with administrative agency charges, preferably at both the federal and state levels on the management side.
• A minimum of six years of employment law experience, including drafting persuasive position statements and representing clients at hearings and/or mediations.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.
• An active bar license in the state of residence and called in any Canadian province.
