What You’ll Actually Do
• Serve as an essential member of a litigation team, guiding cases from initiation to conclusion and supporting attorneys on complex, high-profile matters.
• Prepare, proofread, and electronically file intricate legal documents in California state, federal, and New York courts.
• Develop comprehensive trial materials, including exhibits, binders, and tables of contents/authorities for various proceedings.
• Manage litigation calendars, coordinate meetings, appointments, and oversee attorney schedules.
• Assist with financial administration, including preparing expense reports and supporting monthly billing processes.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Requires at least five years of experience within mid-size or large law firms, demonstrating a strong understanding of California and New York state and federal court procedures.
• Experience: Proven ability in outstanding proofreading and document production, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards.
• Skills: Expertise in electronic filing across state and federal jurisdictions in California and New York, robust legal document preparation and formatting abilities, and strong litigation calendar management skills.
