Job Description: Level 1 Technician (Helper)

We are seeking a highly motivated and trainable Level 1 Technician to join our team, working within a dynamic data center environment. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a history of reliable attendance. While extensive telecom experience is not required, the hiring manager is looking for someone with experience in physically demanding roles who is eager to learn and grow within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pull and route cabling throughout the data center
• Assemble, stack, and drill racks
• Scan, label, and port equipment
• Support general installation tasks as directed by experienced technicians

Required Attributes & Skills:

• Experience working in physically demanding environments (construction, trades, military, or similar)
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Reliable attendance history
• Hands-on electrical or military experience is highly valued
• Must be able to work on ladders and lifts

Pay and Benefits:

• Pay Rate: $20.00/hr (This position will stay at $20/hr and could increase if the person moves into a leadership position, but not guaranteed under contract until an FTE)
• This will most likely be a long-term contract with the ability to go direct as an FTE of Vision Technology once headcount becomes available.
