Validity Inc. provides solutions that include Everest, DemandTools, BriteVerify, and GridBuddy Connect to drive smarter email campaigns and sales growth. This role offers an enrolled law student practical experience within an in-house legal department, specifically supporting a global SaaS business and its various stakeholders.

• Pay: $23–$28 hourly
• Team: Legal team, supporting Validity’s global SaaS operations and collaborating with finance and sales operations.
• Mission: To support Validity’s global SaaS business by assisting with contract administration, review, drafting, and legal projects.
• Tech Stack: Legal technology tools (future integration focus)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Contracts: Draft and review agreements with SaaS customers, business development partners, and other parties around the world.
• Privacy Support: Assist with internal privacy efforts, contributing to compliance and data protection initiatives.
• Legal Technology: Help build and integrate legal technology tools to improve the efficiency of the legal department.
• Case Management: Administer daily cases and provide assistance with the legal department’s case docket.
• Professional Growth: Develop legal skills and education, staying informed about relevant developments in the legal, privacy, and SaaS industries.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in an accredited law school, preferably a second or third-year student, with a demonstrated desire to enter the SaaS industry.
• Experience: Demonstrated knowledge of agreements, encompassing an understanding of what each clause does, what each party values most, and general technological terminology.
• Skills: A strong research background, the ability to meet daily (sometimes changing) deadlines, team spirit, and a well-developed service ethic, characterized by providing outstanding service to internal and external clients while meeting deadlines and offering solutions without alienating stakeholders.
• Bonus: An interest in or familiarity with technology or the technology industry, especially artificial intelligence.
