Cisco Legal Experience Acceleration Program (LEAP)
This program recruits 1L law students for an 11-week in-house summer internship.
Internship Highlights:
• Work Across Various Legal Practice Groups: Interns will have the opportunity to work across a variety of legal practice groups, gaining exposure to different areas of expertise.

Description
What You’ll Do:
• Work on Groundbreaking Legal Issues: Contribute to a variety of legal issues that support Cisco’s efforts to power an inclusive future for all.
• Gain Experience Across Practice Areas: Gain exposure to a wide range of legal practice areas while supporting internal clients.
• Drive Business-Enabling Projects: Work on projects that enable the business to develop and sell leading networking, security, and collaboration products and services.
• Develop Practical Skills: Obtain practical in-house legal experience, enhancing your ability to navigate complex legal environments.
• Learn from Leaders: Benefit from exposure to a department widely recognized as a leader in legal practice evolution.
• Gain Client Perspective: Receive hands-on mentoring and coaching to gain a deeper understanding of the client perspective.
• Deliver End-of-Summer Project: Conduct research and deliver a final project to Cisco Legal’s Senior Leadership Team.
Who You Are
• First-Year Law Student: Currently enrolled in law school for academic year 2024/2025, having completed no more than two semesters of law school.
• Strong Interest in In-House Legal Career: Demonstrate a strong interest in pursuing a career as an in-house attorney.
• Attention to Detail: Possess a focused attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent Communication & Organizational Skills: Exhibit outstanding organizational and communication skills.
Minimum Currently pursuings
• Enrolled in Accredited Law School: Actively pursuing a degree at an accredited law school with no more than two semesters of law school completed.
• Colorado Residents: May redact age-identifying information in submitted materials.
• Availability: Available to participate in the internship program from May 19 – August 1, 2025.
• Work Authorization: Able to legally live and work in the country for which you are applying, without visa support or sponsorship.
