Legal Coordinator | WME | William Morris Endeavor

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at WME | William Morris Endeavor, located in New York, NY. WME is a global leader in entertainment, sports, and fashion, with its Brand Strategy division requiring specialized legal support. This role is critical for ensuring the smooth operation of legal and business affairs within Brand Strategy by managing contracts, optimizing administrative processes, and enabling transactional activities.

• Pay: $63750–$85000 yearly
• Team: Legal and Business Affairs team supporting the Brand Strategy division of WME. Reports to the Senior Vice President, Associate General Counsel.
• Mission: Ensure efficient and effective contract administration, document management, and legal operational processes for the Brand Strategy division.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Draft: Assist with the initial drafting, revising, and negotiating of non-disclosure agreements, statements of work, and various talent/influencer, vendor, and master services agreements.
• Organize: Manage the filing and search processes for all legal documents.
• Optimize: Ensure an efficient and effective administrative process for contracts and overall document management.
• Develop: Create operational efficiencies, templates, and trackers specifically for WME Brand Strategy’s Legal and Business Affairs team.
• Track: Research, manage, and monitor existing contractual obligations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree required, coupled with admission to the New York state bar.
• Experience: 1-2 years of legal experience focused on contracts, ideally within the advertising/marketing, digital media/technology, entertainment, sports, or media sectors. Includes transactional experience from a top law firm or in-house practice, specifically with commercial transactions or sponsorship agreements.
• Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills; highly organized, detail-oriented, and thorough approach; ability to take ownership of projects and work independently; effective solution-oriented problem-solving; ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Bonus: An upbeat temperament, curious mind, strong work ethic, and a highly team-oriented approach to work.
