We are seeking a dynamic and motivated intern to join our Legal Department, focusing on communications and public relations initiatives. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in strategic communications, media relations, and social impact storytelling within a fast-paced environment.

Program Highlights

As an intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting our communications efforts, including:

• Working directly with the Government Affairs teams to coordinate grassroots efforts for social impact work and develop compelling collateral for shopper stories.
• Supporting storytelling for social impact work through newsroom content, social media, and internal communications channels.
• Collaborating with our PR agency to help manage projects, build out deliverables, and develop strategy.
• Working alongside shopper-facing operations teams to draft essential messaging and Q&As.
• Assisting with media relations by writing first-draft newsroom stories, building comprehensive media lists, and helping with local media pitches.
• Supporting internal storytelling by drafting engaging content for the company intranet and enterprise-level messaging (Slack).
• Monitoring key industry news and media updates, flagging critical coverage and mining for new story ideas.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Management, Media Studies, Advertising, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
• Strong project management skills, coupled with comfort and experience in being nimble and adapting quickly as priorities arise.
• Exceptional attention to detail, especially when it comes to grammar, consistent voice, and appropriate tone in all communications.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating professionally with strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
