Leadership Development Program 2027 | Axon
The Tone:
This is a full-time, two-year rotational program at Axon, primarily located in Scottsdale, AZ or Boston, MA, following a hybrid work schedule. Axon builds an ecosystem of devices and cloud software, including body-worn cameras, TASER energy weapons, sensors, drones, virtual reality, and AI-powered evidence management. These technologies are used to make communities safer and more accountable, pursuing society’s most critical safety and justice issues. This program is designed for ambitious graduates to identify, develop, and empower Axon’s next generation of leaders, allowing them to solve meaningful problems, work directly with senior leaders, and accelerate their careers while contributing to the mission to protect life, preserve truth, and accelerate justice.

• Type: Full-time
• Location: Hybrid – Scottsdale, AZ or Boston, MA (rotations may include other offices such as Seattle, Washington DC, London, Ho Chi Minh City, and Sydney).
• Team: A cohort of 15+ participants from diverse experiences, backgrounds, and perspectives, placed in leadership-track roles across the company.
• Mission: To empower Axon’s next generation of leaders by providing broad business exposure, tackling high-impact challenges, and influencing decisions that shape Axon’s future in public safety technology.
• Tech Stack:
What You’ll Actually Do
• Rotate: Complete 3–5 rotations over two years, with flexibility to co-create your experience based on your skills, interests, and career goals, potentially across various global offices.
• Drive Impact: Own meaningful work from day one, partnering with senior leaders to solve complex business challenges and influence decisions.
• Lead Projects: Drive high-priority projects across diverse areas such as product strategy, go-to-market execution, operational scale, financial analysis, corporate development, and customer impact.
• Explore Functions: Build your rotational experience across key functions including Product Management, Sales, Marketing, Strategy & Operations, Finance, Corporate Development/M&A, People Operations, and Investor Relations.
• Engage in Development: Participate in LDP-specific programming, including panels, speaker sessions, mentorship from LDP alumni and senior leaders (like Axon President Josh Isner), and leadership development opportunities.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level / Graduate role for individuals currently pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree, with an expected graduation date by June 2027.
• Experience: Demonstrated leadership experience, evidenced through school, work, athletics, research, entrepreneurship, or community involvement.
• Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, coupled with the ability to work effectively and adapt in ambiguous, high-growth environments.
