Leadership Development Program | A. Duie Pyle, Inc.

The Tone:
This is a full-time, structured training program with an initial variable location, requiring relocation upon completion. A. Duie Pyle, Inc. has been the Northeast’s premier transportation and logistics provider since 1924, known for its “Service First” mentality. This program is specifically designed to cultivate the next generation of Pyle leaders. Through a 24-week accelerated training, participants will be prepared for future leadership roles within the company.

The TL;DR

• Type: Full-time
• Location: In-person, Variable (Relocation required after program completion)

• Mission: To prepare and develop future leaders with a strong understanding of the transportation industry and A. Duie Pyle’s operations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Learn: Immerse in a six-month progression to understand operations, project implementation, brokerage, and finance within the transportation industry.
• Gain Experience: Acquire hands-on experience by working various shifts on the dock and riding along in trucks at a Pyle terminal.
• Develop Skills: Shadow existing Pyle leaders to build leadership capabilities through on-the-job experiences, project assignments, and formal training.
• Engage: Participate in classroom learning to expand industry knowledge, learn about company functions, and network with senior leadership.
• Collaborate: Understand the impact of different team members and roles on overall operational success.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Prior work experience (part-time, internship, or co-op in any field or industry will be considered).
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication; Ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment; Willingness to relocate within the Pyle network upon program completion; Possess a positive attitude.
• Bonus: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree (any major) preferred; Prior work experience preferably in a supply chain, logistics, or transportation field.
