Management Associate (EP), Leadership Development Program (LDP) | Con Edison

• Mission: To introduce recent college graduates to the energy industry and cultivate foundational leadership skills through comprehensive rotational assignments.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
What You’ll Actually Do
• Rotations: Participate in three six-month rotational assignments across operational, engineering, information technology, and business functions to gain broad organizational and leadership experience.
• Project Leadership: Lead and support projects, initiatives, and day-to-day operations to contribute to safety, reliability, customer satisfaction, operational excellence, and business performance.
• Business Analysis: Analyze operational and business challenges, identify improvement opportunities, and develop recommendations to enhance processes, productivity, and outcomes.
• Team Supervision: Provide leadership and support in supervisory assignments, directing work activities, fostering employee engagement, and promoting accountability.
• Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and deliver formal presentations, reports, and recommendations to management and senior leadership regarding project results, operational performance, and business initiatives.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (e.g., Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, or Physics-related disciplines), Business (e.g., Finance, Accounting, Economics, Marketing, Management, or Business Administration), Information Technology, Computer Science, Sustainability Management, Environmental Science, or a related field, earned within the past two years, for an entry-level position.
• Experience: Minimum one year of cumulative work, internship, or co-op experience OR six months of Con Edison co-op or internship experience. Overall GPA of 3.0 or higher. Graduation date between January 2025 and June 2027 from an accredited bachelor’s or master’s degree program.
• Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; strong verbal, listening, and written communication skills; collaboration and team-building skills.
• Bonus: Master’s Degree in Engineering (e.g., Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, or Physics-related disciplines), Business (e.g., Finance, Accounting, Economics, Marketing, Management, or Business Administration), Information Technology, Computer Science, Sustainability Management, Environmental Science, or a related field within the past two years, with the same experience requirement.
