• Mission: Lead PepsiCo’s sustainability program for Australia and New Zealand, driving initiatives across key environmental areas such as sustainable sourcing, regenerative agriculture, water efficiency, biodiversity, and soil health.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead Sustainability Programs: Lead the ANZ sustainability program, initiating and overseeing the delivery of key initiatives across sustainable sourcing, regenerative agriculture, water efficiency, biodiversity, and soil health to ensure environmental stewardship and long-term viability.
• Support Agronomy Initiatives: Provide critical support for the delivery of strategic agronomy initiatives designed to enhance grower capability, build robust supply chain resilience, improve agricultural productivity, and contribute to long-term business performance.
• Partner for Best Practices: Collaborate effectively with agronomy managers, growers, and research teams to collaboratively develop and implement advanced sustainability plans and best practices across the agricultural network.
• Manage Quality and Assurance: Manage external consultants and vendor assurance programs to meet key sustainability and quality outcomes, while also overseeing the implementation of global quality and assurance programs throughout the agronomy function.
• Report Performance: Systematically monitor, report, and communicate comprehensive sustainability performance data and progress to various stakeholders including Business Unit, Sector, and Global teams, ensuring transparency and accountability.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Possess a Degree in Agricultural Science, complemented by a strong foundational and practical knowledge of agronomy, sustainability principles, and agricultural research and extension methodologies.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience within agricultural supply chain management, agronomy, or agricultural research and development, specifically including proven experience in managing agricultural sustainability programs.
• Skills: Demonstrate excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills; exhibit a proven ability to lead individuals, effectively influence outcomes, and cultivate strong, collaborative partnerships.
• Bonus: Advantageous to hold Postgraduate qualifications or an MBA.
