The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Allegro, located in the Philippines. This role is foundational to the company’s sustainability program, driving key environmental, social, and governance initiatives. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the Lead ESG Specialist is a critical contributor to regulatory compliance and acts as a central liaison.

• Team: Reports to the Director of ESG; serves as the primary Philippines ESG liaison.
• Mission: Owns carbon accounting, framework submissions, and supplier engagement for Scope 3 and Product Carbon Footprint data, driving ESG reporting and compliance efforts.
• Tech Stack: Excel workbooks, Smartsheet, carbon accounting software, ESG data management systems, Power BI, AI, data visualization tools, automated reporting workflows, AI-assisted analytics platforms; GHG Protocol, GRI, SASB, CDP Climate, Water, Forest, DJSI, SMR, MSCI, ISS, Sustainalytics, WBA, UN Sustainable Development Goals, ISAE 3000, AA1000AS.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Reporting Management: Manage the implementation of ESG reporting by coordinating across global business unit functions for CDP Climate, Water, Forest, DJSI, SMR, MSCI, ISS, Sustainalytics, WBA, and customer requests.
• Data Ownership: Manage and maintain carbon accounting software, ensuring accurate and timely capture of Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions data in alignment with GHG Protocol standards.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Drive supplier engagement programs to collect, validate, and improve Scope 3 Category data, including outreach, training, and follow-up with key suppliers.
• Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and support the assessment of emerging global and jurisdictional ESG regulatory requirements, such as California SB 253 and EU CSRD, and support the alignment of corporate reporting practices.
• Methodology Application: Apply bottom-up Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) and Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) methodology to assess the environmental impact of Allegro’s semiconductor products.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree required in a field related to ESG/Sustainability, Engineering, project management, environmental science, business, or finance.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in ESG, environmental sustainability, or sustainability reporting roles, including strong analytical experience, project management, and data analytics; demonstrated ability to lead CDP reporting questionnaires cross-functionally; proven ability to influence multiple stakeholders, collaborate effectively, and obtain buy-in across global teams; experience with data management, software implementation, Scope 3 emissions calculations, Product Carbon Footprint, and Life Cycle Analysis; experience supporting ESG Limited Assurance engagements.
• Skills: Expertise in Excel workbooks, Smartsheet, and similar applications; knowledge of carbon accounting software and ESG data management systems; proficiency in Power BI, AI, and data visualization tools to build ESG performance dashboards and management reporting; experience with global ESG reporting frameworks including GRI, SASB, CDP, and UN Sustainable Development Goals.
• Bonus: GRI Standards or SASB FSA certification; familiarity with AI tools and their application in ESG data analysis and reporting automation, and process efficiency; experience with AI-assisted analytics platforms or automated reporting workflows; strong understanding of semiconductor product life cycles; experience with Reasonable Assurance engagements.
