Lead Accountant, Record-To-Report | Electrolux

This is a full-time role at Electrolux, located in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, within the Global Finance Shared Services organization. • Mission: To drive high-quality, compliant, and efficient Record-To-Report (RTR) processes across assigned countries or Commercial Areas, ensuring accurate statutory and group reporting and strong internal controls.
• Tech Stack: SAP, SAP S/4HANA
What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Oversight: Take ownership of end-to-end Record-To-Report (RTR) activities within the GFSS scope, ensuring robust financial oversight and transparent reporting.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and review Balance Sheet and P&L analyses, including anomaly reporting, and manage complex journal entries for impairments, accruals, provisions, and payroll-related accounting.
• Technical Accounting: Manage technical accounting topics such as lease accounting and revenue recognition, and review complex balance sheet reconciliations.
• Stakeholder & Audit Management: Build strong relationships with Group, local finance, and external partners, while coordinating internal and external audits for GFSS processes.
• Process Improvement & Compliance: Drive continuous improvements to methodologies, tools, and processes, ensuring internal controls are effectively designed and executed, and supporting accurate tax accounting activities.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or Accounting, demonstrating strong knowledge of financial accounting, reporting, and IFRS.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Record-To-Report (RTR), including accounting operations, financial analysis, and team leadership.
• Skills: Solid understanding of internal controls, process management, and continuous improvement; Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; Proficiency in English.
• Bonus: ACCA, CIMA, or local equivalent accounting qualification; Experience in a multinational and/or Shared Services environment.
