About the job:
This role involves handling hotel linen and terry, including Food & Beverage linens. Your responsibilities will encompass the full laundry cycle, from sorting and washing to ironing, folding, and treating stains. You will also be responsible for inventory management and distributing linens to various departments.
Detailed Job Description:
• Sorts, washes, dries, irons, folds, treats, spot treats, and inventories hotel linen and terry.
• Includes all Food & Beverage linens.
• Issues and/or distributes bed and table linen to housekeepers, wardrobe attendants, and/or designated Food & Beverage team members.
Job Requirements:
• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Experience:
• Minimum one (1) year experience working in a housekeeping and/or laundry environment.
• Minimum of six (6) months guest service experience preferred.
• Prior experience conducting monthly and daily inventory preferred.
• Other Requirements:
• Ability to learn sanitation policies and procedures.
• Must be able to operate large heavy industrial equipment.
• Must be able to safely work in a hazardous and dangerous environment.
• Must be able to successfully pass a background investigation for a Tribal Gaming License or Permit.
• Must be able to work any shift assigned to include days, swing, grave, weekends and/or holidays.
• Must have successful employment history with the Tulalip Tribes and/or other employers.
