About the Role

Actalent is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Laboratory Support Technician. This is a contract-to-hire position that offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a laboratory setting and contribute to critical scientific processes. You will play a vital role in the initial stages of laboratory operations, ensuring specimens are accurately prepared and processed for analysis.

Responsibilities

• Introduce and prepare biological specimens to the laboratory to ensure accurate processing.
• Open specimens and pour off into secondary containers to prepare for analysis and testing.
• Verify patient demographic information matches the test requisition form submitted.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient computer and typing skills.
• 0-2 years of work experience (entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply).

Pay and Benefits

Pay Rate: $18.00 – $19.00/hr
