Job Title: Laboratory Specimen Processor (Contract to Hire)

Actalent is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Laboratory Specimen Processor in Itasca, IL. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a critical role, ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of biological specimens.

Responsibilities:

• Introduce and prepare biological specimens to the laboratory to ensure accurate processing.
• Open specimens and pour off into secondary containers to prepare for analysis and testing.
• Verify patient demographic information matches the test requisition form submitted.

Essential Skills:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient computer and typing skills.
• 0-2 years of work experience (entry-level candidates are welcome!).

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay Range: $18.00 – $19.00/hr.
