Dishwasher | Driftwood Hospitality Management
The Tone:

This role is crucial for ensuring that cooks, bus persons, and food servers have the appropriate clean equipment for guests’ dining experiences, while also maintaining the cleanliness and safety of physical surroundings.
The TL;DR

• Mission: Ensure clean cooking utensils, service ware, and a tidy environment to support efficient kitchen operations and enhance guest dining.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Process Ware: Promptly sort, wash, and store soiled cooking utensils and service ware in designated areas.
• Maintain Equipment: Keep the dish machine properly cleaned and filled with water, and thoroughly clean pots, pans, kettles, and tilt skillets.
• Clean Surroundings: Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel products and clean and dry floors to maintain health standards and prevent accidents.
• Manage Supplies: Separate linen from other debris and maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
• Uphold Standards: Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety rules, utilizing protective equipment and reporting unsafe conditions or incidents to management.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Hold a current Food Handler Card and possess essential physical strength and stamina for a high-activity role.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability to operate commercial kitchen dish machines in accordance with hotel and health department standards.
• Skills:
• Sufficient manual dexterity to use various kitchen equipment.
• Physical capability to push/pull service carts and lift/carry/move goods weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to comprehend and apply written product labeling instructions for the safe use of cleaning products.
• Capacity for constant twisting, bending, stooping, reaching, standing, and walking throughout shifts.
