Job Description:
KJ is seeking ambitious achievers for their 2025 Kickstart Internship Program. Interns will support project teams providing solutions for:
• Water resources
• Water quality
• Wastewater and water treatment
• Recycled water planning and implementation
The work addresses water, environment, transportation, and industrial sector client challenges. Interns have opportunities to work on significant projects throughout the United States.
Responsibilities may include:
• Field work
• Technical report preparation and calculations
• Pre-construction conditions documentation
• Design plans and specifications
A Day in the Life of an Intern:
• Working on a variety of projects applying skills and calculations learned in school.
• Managing ongoing projects and communicating with team members and clients.
• Attending and contributing to client meetings.
• Visiting project sites.
• Receiving mentorship and advising.
• Networking with employees and clients.
Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in one of the following:
• Civil Engineering
• Environmental Engineering
• Environmental Science
• Geology / Hydrogeology
• Structural Engineering
• Electrical and Controls Systems Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Construction Management & Inspection
• Chemical Engineering
• Valid U.S. driver’s license
• Completion of one year of qualified study
