Job Description: 2025 Kickstart Internship Program
KJ is seeking ambitious individuals for their 2025 Kickstart Internship Program. As an intern, you will support project teams in providing solutions for water resources, water quality, wastewater and water treatment, and recycled water planning and implementation. You will have opportunities to contribute to significant projects across the United States, which may include:
• Field work
• Technical report preparation and calculations
• Pre-construction conditions documentation
• Design plans and specifications
A Day In The Life Of An Intern:
• Working on a variety of projects: Apply skills and calculations learned in school.
• Managing ongoing projects: Communicate with team members and clients.
• Attending and contributing to client meetings.
• Visiting project sites.
• Receiving mentorship and advising.
• Networking with employees and clients.

Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in one of the following fields:
• Civil Engineering
• Environmental Engineering
• Environmental Science
• Geology / Hydrogeology
• Structural Engineering
• Electrical and Controls Systems Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Construction Management & Inspection
• Chemical Engineering
• Valid U.S. driver’s license
• Completion of one year of qualified study
Compensation:
• The pay rate is anticipated to be $20 to $25 per hour, varying based on factors like education, experience, qualifications, skills, licensure/certifications, seniority, geographic location, and performance.
